Summer 2025 Flower CSA

Enjoy 8 weeks of Summer ALLSTARS like LISIANTHUS, Sunflowers, Celosia, Zinnias, Pincushions, Yarrow, and SO many more. You will receive 1 bouquet each week of the Summer season. You will have a dedicated pick-up day and time each week. We will have a couple of pick-up locations to choose from for your convenience. Excellent gift for the flower lovers in your life!

This flower share will have a variable start date. The start date is determined when production becomes consistent and reliable….We estimate/guess for it to begin in mid-June….but the start date NEEDS to have some flexibility because of the nature of growing crops.

Please carefully read the below information before making your purchase so you FULLY UNDERSTAND how our subscriptions work.

By purchasing the “Summer 2024 Flower CSA Share” you are entering an agreement with Carters Creek Flower Company. CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture”.

To help you understand things from our end regarding a CSA model…an example of something that could go “wrong” would be that some deer sneak into the farm and gobble up all of the sunflowers, and we, in turn, have no sunflowers to offer in our mixed bouquets…that is the risk we all run in this agreement….so we all feel that loss together in “shared risk” BUT….we can make up for it with many of our other more abundant summer blooms.  All farms run the risk of weather, insects, fungus, etc problems and we all do our best to prepare for such issues.

There will be a variable start date based on availability, but at this time we are estimating the summer share to start in June 2024. Once the dates of the CSA are announced, all the pick-ups will be on a pre-determined day for 8 consecutive weeks. You will be emailed about two weeks before the first pick-up, but we will also announce it on Instagram and Facebook. The cost of the flower CSA includes the cost of growing, caring for, harvesting, preparing, bunching, and delivering the flowers. Depending on crop availability and type, some weeks you may get more stems than others, but it will all even out and you will get your FULL value throughout the run of the CSA. 

ALL CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE DONE VIA EMAIL. So please be sure to carefully type in your correct email or you will not receive our announcements. We are not responsible if you type in your email incorrectly OR do not check your email regularly.

We advise that you pick up your share as early as you can at each location. The pick-up location you choose assumes no responsibility for the quality of the flowers after the scheduled pick-up day/times. If you can NOT make one of your pick-up dates, we suggest that you send a friend or neighbor to gather your flowers for you! We are sorry but we can not ‘DOUBLE UP’ the next week for you. Harvesting and organizing the CSA shares is a complicated and large task, and we can not deviate from the schedule or plan.

The CSA shares are non-refundable but you can easily transfer your share to another person if you like.
